This is my focus for 2022. RADIANT is my word for the year. My verse for the year is:
Then as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. Proverbs 4:22 (The Passion Translation)
I got a new Bible in 2021 - the Love God Greatly NET Bible and it has a reading plan - I plan to read through the Bible in 2022. This verse gives me so much hope for my health and my relationship with God.
I have discovered in recent weeks that I am not alone. I’ve been struggling with self confidence. In 2021 I walked away from a lot - including dreams, connections, etc. I have sought out more of God, less from everyone else. I’ve worked really hard to shut out the noise. I’m returning to things I love and I feel that true calling I’ve always had to write and celebrate people. So many have expressed their feelings of disconnection, sadness, loneliness, and the struggle to find a way back to self and passions following the pandemic. The struggle when faced with the realization of what really matters and maybe finding we are lacking in those areas and confusion at we got so far away from what we say matters to us. And maybe like me, finding myself a stranger in my own dreams.
I found the verse above back in November and I knew that this would be my guiding verse for 2022. I’m returning to daily practice of being in God’s Word. Claiming the promise of true life and radiant health. And God led me to build my new blog and community around this. I’m so humbled and excited as I look forward to the blessings of what God has in store for us in 2022.
I am building a community here on this blog. My newsletter also is apart of this blog community so if you sign up for free you will receive special content. I am also building a paid community. But it’s not quite ready to reveal today as I had hoped to. We had a loss in our family and it’s put some other things in our priority list until mid-January. The community will be centered around Proverbs 16:9 and Proverbs 4:22. God has truly blessed me in this part of my journey in spite of what I’m forced to learn due to health complications, etc. I am so hopeful for 2022. I hope you are, too.
What are you hoping for in 2022?
